Every year, Maribor traditionally turns into a theater center of national and international dimensions. For ten days, the city lives and breathes with the Borštnik's Meeting Festival, which over the decades has become one of its central cultural attractions.

Borštnik's Meeting is the oldest and most prestigious theater festival in Slovenia. In its nearly half-century-long history, it has gone through various phases, turbulences and changes.
